Luxury residential interior design by STUDIO BELLE.
New York energy, reimagined for the leafy Inner West.
The clients were ready to swap the hustle and bustle of New York for a new home in the leafy Inner West of Sydney. The renovation began while they were still abroad, with a brief to transform a dark and pokey house into a light-filled space to call home.
To achieve it, we tore down several walls, turning a maze of small rooms into a spacious, open-plan living area that floods with natural light.
The rear living area is thoughtfully curated with highly textural furniture — a contemporary quilted sofa and a plump chocolate armchair. Keeping the interiors clutter-free guaranteed tranquillity, so built-in joinery was created for the clients’ treasured objets d’art alongside generous storage.
