Luxury residential interior design by STUDIO BELLE.
An interwar Federation bungalow, restored with a fresh coastal feel.
Entrusted to bring this two-storey interwar Federation bungalow back to life, the objective was to restore its charm while infusing a fresh coastal feel. The design rests on a base of white walls, oak flooring and natural materials.
The kitchen was doubled in size and contemporised with a monochrome scheme, featuring a fluted timber island base topped with sleek white marble. The interior — a jigsaw — was streamlined by reprogramming the rear, switching the living room into the dining area, while new floor-to-ceiling windows now flood the space with light.
The luxurious appearance of natural marble is coupled with the easy care and durability of engineered stone across the wet areas. Accents of brass and a statement pendant add a touch of luxe to the powder room.
